I am riding on 20s which are wider than stock. Half a year later my tires would rub the well when cutting the wheel. Then when Id hit a bump I would flop all over. Decided replace the shocks and it really made an improvement. Took a few days for them to adjust and now I can lay into the turns. Sears wanted $195 just for the front. Good product, good price and I received them in 2 days after I ordered. FYI I read that they are compared to the Monroe Reflex which are little cheaper and Monroe is the owner of Rancho.
These beat stock shocks. These shocks are mello, but on a bad highway these shocks are murder, but in town or on a gravel road they are great.
I installed both front and rear Rancho RSX on my 2002 Avalanche in under 2hrs. Very easy to do (spray WD40 the day before).
The ride is noticably improved over the stock Z71 shocks installed at the factory (bilstein). I highly recommend em especially off road!
After replacing blown front shocks I was so impressed with the ride that I bought a set for the rear.
