Have noticed no difference in either the performance or mileage. Might have even seen a decrease in mileage, and if that is confirmed, I will be going back to the stock GM filter. Maybe the K&N cold air intake system is a better choice. Sorry, but I can not recommend just the filter.

These K-N Filters are a great value and Performance Center sells them for almost half the price of my local auto parts store. With these filters you get a life time filter, HP gains over a stock filter and increase fuel mileage plus your car just runs better. This all adds up to a GREAT VALUE!

Replaced air filter w/ K&N lifetime filter element.Installation was so simple, less than 5 mins. Already noticed an increase in speed vs. rpm. Also noted an increase in fuel milage of approx. 1+ mpg.and have only had the product for 2 weeks in my 2002 chevy truck. Better air flow DOES make a difference!!! Would recomend this product to anyone. AAA+++

Using this on a 2007 Yukon XL and gained 1.5 miles per gallon. I have always put the K&N air filters in all my vehicles. Just makes sense over the long haul. Pay for it once get better gas milage and then just clean it 3 times a year. It pays for itself within one year.

I am very disappointed in the Two (2) k&N air filters i recently purchased. The fuel milage on both viehcles dropped by (2) two miles per gallon. i have not changed my driving habits nor has my wife. I will give them a few more miles of driving to see if it improves,oterwise i wiil be returning them for a refund. thank you. ALAN ----------

I bought the K&N air filter to replace the stock filter in my 2001 Chevy Silverado. I have not noticed any increase in gas mileage as K&N so proudly boasts about. Although it hasnt increased my mileage I will enjoy not having to replace it and it was an easy install.

Did not notice any difference from the stock filter. Thought I would get 5-10 more HP, and a couple of mile a gallon better, but have not seen any change.
