This is the 3rd set of Rancho 9000s I have put on my vehicle. The first set was on a 1988 Chevy pu and the second set was on my wifes 95 Jeep Wrangler and this set is installed on an 01 GMC 2500 HD. I use my vehicles for towing and as a chase vehicle at off road races. I had never had any problems with them before and I dont expect to have any now. They have always performed up to and beyond my expectations.

Ive always likes the Rancho shocks, especially the 9000s. Having the ability to tailor the ride and handling depending upon my needs -- empty, towing, hauling heavy loads in the bed, etc. -- is a tremendous benefit.
This is the third truck Ive installed them on. The 9000s have been on my various trucks for about 12 years total time, and a little over 300,000 miles. The only problem they have is the adjustment knobs have a tendency to freeze up after a while. If Rancho can fix that engineering flaw then I would rate them a 5 instead of a 4.

These shocks worked pretty good. They were easy to install and I could tell they were much better quality than the Bilstien, they had much thicker rods. They do ride a little better than the stock ones. You can really tell the difference between settings. I would recommend them to someone who is going to do some off-roading. I would like to compare the self adjusting shocks b/c getting out and turning the little knob under the vehicle can get annoying.
